St. Simon Peter's Episcopal Church is a friendly, embracing, and Christ-centered family parish that loves to be with one another.  As I reflect on our parish's accomplishments and recall the many ways our church family contributes towards furthering God's Kingdom in our local community, I am lead to a single unmistakable conclusion - that St. Simon Peter is a place anyone can feel comfortable with and call their spiritual "home."

Our parish family is dedicated to taking care of one another...and anyone else that might seek our help.  So, answering Christ's call to love and serve neighbor comes naturally for us.  Indeed, like other Episcopal parishes, we enjoy diverse demographics and differing perspectives; however, such issues never become barriers or obstacles for us - for in our common worship, in our social gatherings, and in our mutual friendships we have grown to love and respect our differences as we find common ground in which to serve Christ.

Currently, we offer both adult and youth Christian education programs, and organize several opportunities for our other denominational friends to celebrate with us throughout the year; whether during Vacation Bible School or as we come together to enjoy sacred music during our annual Christmas Festival of Lessons & Carols.  We are proud of our many ministries as well, which include as the Episcopal Church Women (ECW), our Men's Group, the Episcopal Young Church People (EYC-YPF), or our newly formed chapter of The Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK).  And, as we grow, we expect our programs to grow with us.  And, then there's always the lake....

Our parish future is just as bright as it is expansive!  We are always seeking new and innovative outreach and mission opportunities.  We treasure both young and old alike, and seek out ways to honor the diverse gifts our parish family possesses.  But, our prayer is to remain a personal and close parish - familiar with everyone and never forgetting anyone's name...or, anyone's need.  We look forward to meeting you and yours!
